Shrimp Tails Fly at Japan Inn

Locations:
1781 N. University Dr. in Sunrise (954) 424-8855 ~or~
1798 Weston Town Center in Weston (954) 659-7847

If you're a fan of Asian flair, venture to either of the two family owned restaurants for the meal of your life.

Most meals are served Hibachi style, which if you're not familiar with it is where the chefs cook your meal right in front of you. It's not just a meal, but an entertaining show with fire blazing across the table and shrimp tails flying onto plates across the room.

While the entertainment varies depending on who the chef is, all the food tastes the same and is the best in town. If you are partial to places like Benihana's, skip the overpriced food and corporate atmosphere and come to a place where they really appreciate your business.

I've tried most of the hibachi meals which consists vegetarian dinners, steaks, shrimp, scallops, and chicken in several varieties and includes soup, salad, rice, and veggies. However, it's the Fried Wahoo appetizer that will blow your mind. I suggest ordering it as your meal, along with the vegetarian hibachi meal. It's a lot of food, but there will be plenty left over for the next day's lunch.

Come hungry, leave happy, without your wallet taking a beating.
